Terms of use

Draft for legal review. Last updated: 12 September 2026.

1. Who we are

GoSec.TV is operated by GoSecure Inc. (“GoSecure”, “we”), organiser of the GoSec conference, Montréal, Québec, Canada. Contact: [email protected].

2. The service

GoSec.TV is a membership video library of recorded GoSec conference sessions, speaker profiles, transcripts and related resources (“Content”). Access to Content requires an active membership: an individual subscription, a team subscription managed by a team owner, or a complimentary membership granted to GoSec ticket holders.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. One account is for one person; team seats may not be shared between people. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually, at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time from My account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Team owners may change the number of seats; upgrades are prorated for the current period. Ticket-holder memberships last one year from activation and do not renew. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to stream Content for your own professional development or, for team memberships, within your organisation. You may not download, record, copy, redistribute, publicly screen, sell or otherwise exploit Content, circumvent access controls, scrape the site or share access links outside your membership.

6. Intellectual property

Content, the GoSec and GoSec.TV names and logos, and the site are protected by copyright and trademark law and belong to GoSecure or to the speakers and sponsors who authorised their use. Speakers retain the rights to their own materials.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, replace or remove Content and features, and may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Content is provided for information and education; it is not professional, legal or security advice for your specific situation. To the extent permitted by law, GoSecure is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. You may close your account at any time from My account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be brought before the courts of the district of Montréal, Québec.
